Taking Things For Granted

When I think about everything in my life I never realize how hard my parents and my parents parents had to work just so I could have clothes to wear, a house to live in, and an education to further myself in the world. I really never realize what I have and not because I lost everything I had, but because I look on the news and see kids have nothing.

They have no home to live in. No school to go learn about the world. No food to eat. Sometimes they lose both of their parents and are forced to take care of their siblings. They must feel hopeless and vulnerable. I mean when something bad happens to us we move on. What if you had nowhere to start over? Could you ever move on.

These people may live across the ocean but doesn't mean we can't take little steps to help them just by volunteering or by going to http://www.theliteracysite.com/ you could donate a book, or help feed a child, or even help build home for these people. There are ways to help people who maybe can't survive until tomorrow.
